Computer is freezing, and can't games cant detecting my ram/gfx?

    Hello,

I've had my computer for about a year now, a week ago I was playing Saints Row IV and my computer froze and made a buzzing noise from the speaker.

I immediately turned off the PC and turned it back on.

When I got back on I saw no problems, so I continued playing, 'till it happened again.

I opened up my computer and sure if all the fans worked, and they were, I also went ahead an replaced my thermal paste.

I also did a disk clean up, and a registry clean.

The computer doesn't crash often now, only when I play games for a long period of of time, I also noticed that dxdiag couldnt detect my computers specs and my computer isn't running as fast as it used to.

    Any ideas?

It could be your graphics card try updating or maybe even scanning for artifacts if you find anything and your cards still under warranty send it back
