Recovery was deleted now leading nowhere

    This is the one I get during using the recovery disc

    The OS disc but if you prefer follow Pauly advice. This will give you the best install of Windows 7 but you specifically asked for an install back to the factory condition. I still don't see how Windows 8 got into the equasion though???

    Hi pals thanks for your help what I did was took the laptop to nearby HP service centre and they installed a firmware which updated my bios and MB settings now the recovery is working

    And now the recovery runs fine but at the end it says restoration incomplete and comes with a log....

    Can you copy and paste the log into here? If not Why not do a clean install?
