    Microsoft help and support

How can I get Microsoft help and support instead of that for HP Magic Canvas which I get now?

What are you 'clicking' to get the support but actually getting HP Magic Canvas?

    Hello Herm,

If you like, you could use the "Windows Help and Support" shortcut below to make it easier to use.

    Hope this helps, :)

Just curious, what is listed as default for .hlp files when you check here,

    Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Default Programs\Set Associations

    Herm,

In addition, see if you have the "C:\Windows\winhlp32.exe" file to open Windows Help and Support.

If you like, downloading and merging the .reg file for the listed hlp option in the tutorial below will restore the default Help associations that Derek posted above for you automatically.

Ideally you could always follow this tutorial and get a perfect install of windows without any bloatware. Making your system a lot more stable and faster. Also making it work like you expect without all the HP junk.
