    Taskbar banners

When I hover my mouse over the icons on the taskbar in windows 7, it used to show me what pages where open (in use) even web pages. It used to show me the entire page but now it only shows me a banner with words describing the page. How can I change it back to the way it was?

    Welcome to the forum,

Have you recently changed your theme to a non-aero theme?

You can try option 3, #1 of this tutorial,

Taskbar Thumbnail Previews - Enable or Disable

Also, if you have more then 8 tabs open (web browser), it will not display all the pages as it cannot fit a image of all of them. This is normally the issue. So it just display the title of the tabs. And not the image. Make sure Enable aero peek is checked under performance information and tools-adjust visual settings.

Wouldn't the amount of tabs it shows be dependent on resolution?

That's interesting to know, I've never had that many tabs open before.

I always have a lot of tabs open. :) It does depend on the resolution. Mine is in my specs.
Also want to add, chrome is the only Major browser so far that does not show a peek of each tab. Internet explorer and firefox do.
