    Windows 7 index searching

Okay I have gone through many forums and tried about everything, So I came too this site which has been helping me since I ever owned a PC with windows 7, But I have a problem and unlike before I cannot find anyone else with this dilema shall I say...

Straight to the point, When I move my users from my C drive to obviously save space windows index is always been clever enough to search files I needed now instead of buying a bigger D hard drive I've used an older WD caviar Blue 1tb hard drive for my files and had the drive letter changed to B...

Now for reasons I cannot find out with days of searching is that even if i move users folder to a portable hard drive index still finds it!!! yet as soon as I move it too B: Drive... It wont even bother to search soon as I type it goes No Items Match Your Search...

Now hopefully I got you guys attention here... So Let me give you the full in details...

Like I said its a caviar Blue 1tb 7200rpm exactly same as my black drive except im using a sata II lead and port instead of Sata III lead/port which is what my caviar black drive is using.

The hard drive is fine it copies fine infact it sometimes has better speeds than my caviar black drive!

The security settings on all my drives are exactly the same I tried giving full permissions to all users etc but did'nt make a difference.

I think thats all the info I know if you guys have any questions please ask, I desperatly miss just typing in search box too find a file within hundreds off others :/

Oh one more thing to make this little wierder... If i add the entire B drive to windows index its impossible too search anything at all on it... And im talking not within the users files im talking certain music back ups i have on the hard drive next to my users folders it wont search them?? Yet if i take The entire b drive off index it will find them straight away? including within user files BUT when i say click my pictures or my music from the windows startbar and type in the search box nope nothing refuses too find it? Soo please I beg of you what gives am I really being stupid here or is there something really wierd going on?

    Thanks for you're time,
    Sincerely,
    Damien

Oh and I've tried a few Reg edit moves such as going too HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList

And changing the default, , Public, Profile Directory

too My B: Drive (of course I moved the Hidden default folder and the public folder aswell... and i'm guessing the profile directory was the users which I moved too the B: Drive also So in my B: Drive i have 3 folders... Old Music, Music need to sort, And users which inside the users faulder I have the hidden Default and the public one aswell... which have only been copied too the B: Drive from the C: drive... so not cut and paste...
    Thanks again!!!

Sorry not to keep being a paint but also Index doesn't seem too take as long as people have been making it out O.o such as if i index My C drive my B drive and my D drive which is approx 494190 files it takes 20mintues if that? I know my pc is fast but I doubt its a record breaking for hard drive speeds if thats helpful too anyone?
