Windows 7 fails to start after defragmentation in multiboot setup

I have WinXP, Vista, and Win 7 as well as two Linux Distros on five partitions on two hard drives. Last night I used Easeus Partition maker to shrink my Vista partition and add this space to my Win 7 partition. Afterwards I had problems with the Win 7 giving a "Windows failed to start," message with the usual 3 steps of inserting your disk, choose language...next, click repair. The corrupt file referenced was winload.exe status 0xC0000225 info: "the selected entry could not be loaded." I have had this problem happen several times before on similar setups and I typically ended up not being able to do a repair without having to format the partition and then having to reinstall a Linux OS as well to get my Grub boot menu back. Is there another fix; for example, is it possible to copy winload.exe from another working installation of Win 7 to the one that's not working to make it work? I don't want to overwrite my existing customized Grub boot menu if that is possible. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I repaired my Windows 7 partition using the Windows 7 Ultimate Repair Disk which I downloaded and/or created several years ago and found on the shelf. The process was fairly automatic and did not overwrite my MBR.
