Windows 7: Startup repair couldn't fix the issuses

You need a Product Key to legally activate Win7 which is paid software.

Without one it's piracy which is a crime, so we can't help you any further except to get legal. In fact the moderators may choose to ban you if they feel you are not contrite enough.

Ultimate is rather pricey. Most users don't need more than Home Premium which costs less. I'd buy a key for that and we will help you install it, unless you already have another legal copy of Win7 with a Product Key to activate it you'd like to use here.

Hi, let me quote myself:

What I mean by that is I cannot download/install anything since startup repair is unable to fix the problem but still starts again whenever i try to turn on my computer. You can check out my first post for more details about the errors.

You need a legal copy of Win 7 before we can help you further. A disk given to you by a friend which doesn't need a Product Key does not qualify, unless I misunderstood what you wrote?

Hi Monz,

Go ahead checking your hard drive with the manufacturer's diagnostic/repair tool.. From the previous history, plus the current description of the problem I am of the opinion that it does not appear to be any install media related or inflicted problem.(non-genuine or corrupted)

As a matter of fact, I have been using genuine Windows 7 media either my own, or the user's or the downloaded ISO just for the purpose of installing and verifying the integrity of the HDD when it starts throwing read errors like that. Suffice to say however that any licence key is just used on only one computer. In most cases where such a true install does not hold and spits out error messages, it has been found the harddisk check reports problems that however gets corrected, but repeats at intervals - a sure sign of a dying HDD.

I also note that you have not mentioned of any activation problem and so I am not concerned about it at the moment. But suffice if you know that without a valid key, why me or gregrocker , even God himself won't be able to help you when the activation issue arises.:)
