    Just as a personal thought (and absolutely no disrespect intended) Windows 7 isn't like previous operating systems in that some services are co-dependent on other services. Deleting a service completely could have an adverse affect on system stability. It's usually better to leave a service disabled rather than delete it. But if you have to go the deletion route, I'd respectfully suggest you create a restore point at a minimum and a system image would be even better.

    What service are you referring to?

    As Lee said there are no excess Services running in Win7 which is why it is the leanest best performing OS ever.

    You will have unintended consequences if you try to disable or delete any, as we found out when we were experimenting with it during beta. Since that time what we've learned and teach here has made us the top tech forums on the web, probably ever. So take it or leave it.
