Did you run any of the scanners ?
You haven't commended on any results from them or prior hide unhide tutorial I posted ?
You also haven't provided any existing Security suite you have installed ?

Windows 7 32 bit

the folder hide unhide doesnt work. i wish i could show a screen shot, but the permissions wont let me save one. the folder Music simply says (empty) and "this folder is unavailable". there's already some security software on the computer from microsoft that cleaned things up already

The Exact name would be helpful of this security,
Otherwise Windows defender is Not a Security suite,
Please use the Free scanners,
Manually Update them before running full scans,
Try not to use your computer while the scans are running, (one at a time of course).
Uncheck the box to Activate the Free trial from the final install options,
This one is the longest up to 4 hours, the others are only about 45 minutes,
Or not ?
