Please use the SFC /SCANNOW command as displayed in option two of this tutorial.

2. Open an elevated command prompt.
3. Type "SFC /SCANNOW" without the quotations.
4. Let SFC do it's thing, and then prompted to, restart.

If SFC found and repaired anything, please do the following:
5. When restarted, open an elevated command prompt.
6. Type (or copy) the following, this will create a .txt file on your desktop;

• The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
• When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
• Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
• When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.
• The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.

If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts, click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process, if asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.

You could also try to reinstall FireFox to see if the problem persists after that.
The download page for FireFox can be found here.

Good luck and keep us posted,

Hello Buzzbusyz,

Thanks

We can use the information withing the CBS.log to see if SFC has found and repaired any integrity violations.
SFC found a few things and repaired them, nice. Have you also rebooted after running SFC?

Have you also ran a scan with Malwarebytes and tried reinstalling your browser?

Good luck and keep us posted,

Hello Buzzbusyz,

Let me get this straight;
You are experiencing lag when you are browsing and playing games, right?

----------

What is the exact model of your graphics card?
Please fill in your system specs by following this tutorial.

----------

Also, what game are you trying to play? Please check the DVD case of the game to see if your graphics card meets the minimum requirements.

----------

Please also upload the .zip file created by running the SF Diagnostic Tool. It will give us some more information about your system and possible causes for what you are experiencing.

Good luck and keep us posted,

Hello Buzzbusyz,

I hear quite a lot of people saying that yes:)

----------

Please follow the BSOD Posting Instructions and post the created .zip file with your next reply.

----------

Please also perform a full scan with Malwarebytes as shown here and post back the log between

tags in your next reply.

----------

Please also fill in your system specs using the tool I showed you here.

----------

Also note that your graphics card comes from 2008, and that you most likely won't be able to play the newest games with it (like Crysis 2 and 3 and such heavy games).

----------

1. Please download this tool (click to download) and save it to your desktop.
2. Run the tool, and at the end click on Copy. Ignore any errors given.
3. Paste the log here using Ctrl+V and please put the log between

tags in your next reply.

Good luck and keep us posted,
