Sony Vaio E Series VPCEH25EN Keyboard not working

    Hi and thanks in advance!
As the title suggests, the keyboard of my Vaio isn't working.
I'm pretty sure that it isn't a hardware problem, as the keyboard started functioning for a day.
    Any ideas?

Hi there .. When did this first happen ? What do you mean by >> [ I'm pretty sure that it isn't a hardware problem, as the keyboard started functioning for a day.] .. Have you tried a restore point before the issue happened

It's a secondary laptop, so I'm not very confident as to the date it actually happened.
I'm sure that it's a software problem because it started working again for a day.

Hi there .. So you do not have any restore points before this happened .. Does the keyboard show up in the Device Manager ? .. If so select it Uninstall and reboot your computer .. Let me know the results

let's leave out system restore as the final resort...
uninstalling and a reboot did no good.

A few keys do work, like the QWERTY row.
I have no such thing as Energy Management coming up on my Start Menu
