Windows 7: Multiple performance issues

Yeah, I'm a bit nervous about the reliability of the drive. However, after running Seatools twice following the "fix run" and finding no errors, I'm slightly reassured. I already run automatic data backups to the two external drives and also backup to the cloud (Skydrive, Dropbox and Adobe for image files] at least once a day. I'm often running client files that are not easily replaced, so I tend to go overboard (in some opinions) with backups. I will download the Crystal Disk Info software and will plan to run Seatools probably once a week or so. Meanwhile, I've spent most of the day working with Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Word all running at once. I was unable to do this for the past ten days, so it looks like things are at least somewhat resolved.

Thank you, again, for all your help. I may be back if things go south again.

Wit's End over performance issues
Ok, so I'm going to go insane over this computer. I have a year old Asus laptop that about a week or two ago started experiencing slowdowns while gaming. At first I thought it was a internet related issue, as I was on wireless and I was seeing pings of 300ish (I had these pings for a while, no...
