Thanks for your kind words. I am really honored. And yes we do provide atleast 1 year of warranty on all the systems whether they are new or refurbished.

I wish OP would have contacted us within warranty we would have surely dealt with it without much hassles for him.

Greg asked me to check in this post. Apologies for missing this post earlier. First things first system should not go to boot manager prior to windows load untill and unless you press F12 key on the keyboard.

So please check if F12 key is stuck or keep getting pressed on the system. You can check your keyboard by simply checking this easy and useful tester:

If you still wish to isolate then disconnect the keyboard from the system and try to boot the system. Check this manual link below for the same:

Lastly, if keyboard is fine and system still playing up you should try updating the BIOS from the link below:

Thanks alot, So i checked my keyboard, and no matter how many times i press f12, it does not go, since i have an alienware, the f12 key still lights up, and there are no obvious signs of it being broken. I currently have an m11x laptop. Thanks, wait a minute, this is really weird, I am looking at the parts and they say alienware m14x, but the little metal plate on the underneath of my laptop says m11x. Weird.

Thanks for your reply. It would be a M14x as I checked there is no boot manager option in the M11x. However, in both the systems if you press F12 it should take you to the one time boot menu/boot manager.

It seem to me an issue with the keyboard which is taking you to the boot manager. However, before disconnecting the keyboard you should first update the BIOS from the link below:

BIOS update

Also, did you manage to check the keyboard test as advised in the first post.

Greg: Just check there are no quick boot setting under this BIOS.

Thanks for your reply. Great to hear we found out that F12 key is what should be the most probable cause of this issue.

It would be better we go ahead and replace the keyboard to check and resolve this issue. If the system is under warranty then please contact me through a private message and provide me your service tag and contact information so I may access your system records.
