Action after opening a folder

Is it possible that when I'll open a folder a program or file will open automatically??

Example : I open Program Files and Windows Media Player starts automatically!

Could you be more precise what programs you are opening and what method you use?

Well, I've already given an example. I haven't got any medthod that's why I'm asking if there's any

Could be, but why? I just use the shortcut or quick launch. We need some response from the OP to clarify I think.

Yes Gary I wished those scans had been done first thing if only to rule out any nasties

I think the OP wants to open a specific application to open automatically whenever he opens a specific folder, sort of like Autoplay for folders.

I guess the example rephrased would be,
If I open Program Files folder, I want Media Player to start automatically. How do I do it ?
