    no location tab

Hi guys, just installed win7 from my box, all went well until I messed up moving the folders from c:\users\swarfega to f:\users\swarfega. I managed to redirect the downloads folder into the desktop folder so its messed up.

Anyway to restore that or will I have to reinstall again?

I am also unable to move the Desktop folder since theres no Location tab.

    Hi Nick,

This may be able to help you restore them.

It may be easier to just create a new administrator account, then copy the contents of your old user account's user folders into the corresponding new account's user folders. After everything checks out, then you can just delete the old user account.

Well I rebooted after editing the registry entries at user shell folders and they have reverted back to c: but there is no location tab to move them over to f:.

You might give a repair install a try first to try and avoid a clean install.
