Random complete freezing after mouse slows down, no BSOD

I've had this issue recurring for several months, usually only a few times per week while working 8+ hours a day on my computer with no issues otherwise. My laptop is a high horsepower gaming system that I primarily only use for business (I filled in my system specs before posting). There is nothing in particular in common between instances where is freezes other than having lots of programs open (as usual) and is ALWAYS preceded by the mouse slowing down, responding slowly, and if audio is playing, the audio gets stuck in a loop as well. When I notice the mouse lagging, I immediately stop moving it and it will usually "catch up" and the system returns to normal. If I don't catch it in time, the displays freeze, the audio stays playing in a short loop (when playing) and nothing responds, keyboard lights, etc until I hard power cycle the system. More recently, instead of the displays freezing, they completely lose their signal, but the same outcome.

The last occurrence (only minimal programs open) actually appeared to reset the PC and create a crash dump, so I used the SF Diag tool and grabbed everything. I then ran the driver verifier according to the instructions at Using Driver Verifier to identify issues with Drivers, but there were no non-microsoft drivers listed, so I ran with all drivers and caused a BSOD, re-ran the SF Diag tool to grab everything and uploaded it here. Aside from this BSOD, I have had very infrequent BSOD's.

FYI, I have already run memory tests with no issues, and installed a temperature monitor program and saw nothing unusual, as again, I primarily run business apps that use lots of memory but usually do not significantly tax my system. The biggest culprit I would suspect is the display adapter as I am using dual external displays on an HDMI (1920 x 1080) and DisplayPort with adapter to dual-link DVI (2560 x 1600) but I have been through several nVidia updates with no change to this issue.

Any further help would be greatly appreciated, and thanks ahead!

OK I'm a newbie, but 210 views of this thread and not a single response, did I stump everyone? As this issue is usually not BSOD related, I put it in the general discussion forum. Should I have posted elsewhere? Anyone? Bueller?
