    Index.dat Analyzer

    Hi!

I've used Index.dat Analyzer a couple of times in the past when I've been wanting to find information regarding my history that I've deleted (either by accident or because I thought I wouldn't need it any more) and it's been great. I've been able to find what I needed and without too much trouble.

I've just tried to do the same thing (first time in a while) and I've received a message along the lines of "The index.dat file you require is not available". I've tried doing it a couple of times and it's still giving me the same message.

Can you please tell me what is causing this? Would there have been an update of some kind that I somehow didn't get?

    Welcome to the Seven Forums.

What version of Internet Explorer are you using?

Index.dat Analyzer has not been updated in a very long time. W7 is not even mentioned on the page where you download it from: Systenance Software - Index.dat Analyzer

I have used it off and on, but it does not find any index files for me now that I'm using IE10.

You might try Browsing HistoryView: BrowsingHistoryView - View browsing history of your Web browsers
