    How do I make a New folder in My Pictures.


    How do I make a New folder in My Pictures. It seems the the option of opening the File menu and selecting "New folder" is no longer there.

    Do you have the New Folder button on the top?

    Or you can right click in and open area and go to New > Folder.

    Neither of these works. If I right click the only option under New is Briefcase.

    Bongo has given you the best ways to do it.

    Pressing the ALT key should make the menu bar temporarily appear that contains File Edit View....

    edit: you posted more info while I was off chasing a screenshot
    It does sound like restoring your default options to the "New" context menu is what you need.

    When I select New from the menu, none of the options include a New Folder. So where do I go from the New menu?
