Windows 7: How to run a batch , .bat, flle as administrator

09 Dec 2014   #21

Windows 7 Pro 32

It runs taskeng.exe when I test on my PC, not cmd.exe

In the task field "Program/script", have you entered only the batch file or are you starting it like this? Example:
"c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe /C C:\adminparams.bat"

Try and specify only the batch file if you're using the above start method.

One more thing to try assuming you got the test batch to run also with arguments:

open the properties window for your scheduled task, then go back and open the properties for my test file. Put the 2 property windows side by side and go through all tabs and settings in both to see if anything is different.
