Can't Boot Windows 7, All System Recovery tools hang at blue screen
Hey all,
I recently came home from a weekend trip and I couldn't get into Windows at all. No safe mode, no last good configuration etc. I figured my little bro messed up something and was playing dumb.
Anyway every time I booted and I didn't attempt to stop it, it went into automatic start up repair but failed to fix the issue. I created a bootable Win7 repair usb and fixed the issue, which was stated as a corrupted registry.
Fast forward 24 hours. My PC locked up during normal operation so I manually shut it off. After turning it on again the same issue has been occurring. Windows won't boot, no safe mode, no last good config, and it attempts to go straight into start up repair.
However this time it hangs on a black screen right after "windows is loading files" for an indeterminate time.
When I try to boot from win7 repair usb, it hangs for hours after I click on language.
When I try to boot from win7 install usb, it hangs for hours after I click on repair computer.
I can no longer get into any system recovery options using either usb or start up repair.
I'm currently running memtest but don't know what else to do!
Thanks for any assistance!
