Can't Boot Windows 7, All System Recovery tools hang at blue screen

    Hey all,

I recently came home from a weekend trip and I couldn't get into Windows at all. No safe mode, no last good configuration etc. I figured my little bro messed up something and was playing dumb.

Anyway every time I booted and I didn't attempt to stop it, it went into automatic start up repair but failed to fix the issue. I created a bootable Win7 repair usb and fixed the issue, which was stated as a corrupted registry.

Fast forward 24 hours. My PC locked up during normal operation so I manually shut it off. After turning it on again the same issue has been occurring. Windows won't boot, no safe mode, no last good config, and it attempts to go straight into start up repair.

However this time it hangs on a black screen right after "windows is loading files" for an indeterminate time.

When I try to boot from win7 repair usb, it hangs for hours after I click on language.

When I try to boot from win7 install usb, it hangs for hours after I click on repair computer.

I can no longer get into any system recovery options using either usb or start up repair.

I'm currently running memtest but don't know what else to do!

    Thanks for any assistance!

Does win7 install usb or repair usb see the harddisk? I think it does because of "windows is loading files" when trying to try to boot normally.

Command Prompt at Startup OPTION ONE, point 1 so do SHIFT-F10 there.

Now you have a command prompt:

    Code:
    diskpart
    list disk
select disk 0 (or 1 or 2...I want you to select the internal harddisk)
    list part
    list vol
    exit
All partitions are still there? What are the volume drive letters in output? All NTFS, all healthy? (ignore usb and dvd stuff)

    System Recovery Options option TWO.
Is screen 5 the last screen you see, or screen 4? A lot of disk activity afterwards?

Screen 4 is the last screen I see. Then just a blue win7 background screen with a white movable cursor.

Still working on the command prompt, had to reinsall the win 7 install usb using rufus

After I typed diskpart in the cmd it just read out the version/copyright and now i just have a blinking bottom cursor "_" can't type anything else.

I ran a memtest86, completed one pass no errors.

The regular installation setup for Win 7 also hangs at the "setup is starting.. " screen.

I'm at a loss to figure out what the issue is...

Do again the SHIFT-F10 trick to enter command prompt. Then do:
    Code:
    DIR C:\
    DIR D:\
    DIR E:\
    DIR F:\
Drive letters are not the same as normally in win7! So C can be called D now for example. Maybe E is DVD and maybe F usb stick. Maybe F doesn't exist. I think it's a disk problem.

Please tell me which of the commands above do work. If it freezes on D for example do the same trick again (SHIFT-F10) and try E.

What is C,D,E,F? Which ones don't work?

Drive C is my storage drive
Drive D freezes, I'd assume that's my normal C boot drive
    Drive E is my usb
    Drive F doesn't exsist

I can use parted magic to access the files on the unbootable "drive d" no problems.

I even restored the boot label to that drive using a tool in parted magic, but didn't change anything. Still locking up.

C is storage drive? What do you mean... is that on same physcial harddrive as non bootable win7?

Does internal harddrive only have one large partition (called C in win7)?

No DVD drive in system? I think F:\ is DVD drive(?)
