    After trying tree times pushing the same button it is attemptong repairs

    It start repairing without this error message

    And at the viewing

    View diagnostic and repair details rule

    There is this popup
    Startup repair

    Root cause found

    Boot manager failed to find os loader.

    Repair action: file repair
    Result: failed. Error code 0x70
    Time taken .....

    Repair action: boot configuration data store repair
    Result: failed. Error code = 0x490
    Time taken ....



    Please help i guess it is a dos code o have to enter but i dont know any

    Did you run diagnostics on your hard drive as per post #9? You still haven't filled in your system specs as per post #4 so it will be hard to recommend the correct one for you.

    Is this Windows 7 an upgrade from Vista or XP? Do you have the actual Windows 7 Ultimate DVD, or is it a copy/ISO?

    Yes it is an upgrade from vista. I repaired it or tried to repair with an iso.
    The hard disk control showed an error with the special testing software you provided

    If there's an error on the hard drive then that's the problem. A new hard drive may be the only answer unless there's a chance of rescuing it.

hi all...running mcafee...am getting "this application unable to start correctly (Oxc000009a) click ok to close application"....i get this when the computer boots up...not quite sure if my anti virus is working...i have removed the software and re installed mc afee...any suggestions would be great...
