    Changing Fax Resend Times - Windows 7 Fax


    Please can someone advise me how to change the Fax resend times with the built in Windows 7 Fax printer. When the fax line at the other end is busy, Windows will try and resend after 10 minutes. I would like Windows to resend after one minute if this is possible. I Googled and found instructions for XP but nothing for Windows 7. I could not find anything in the Windows 7 Fax options. Maybe there is a work around or a tweak. Your advice would be appreciated.

    Sorry to trouble everyone, I just found the answer to my own post. Open the devices and printers window in the control panel. Double click the fax printer icon. In the main fax window under Tools/Fax Settings/Advanced its possible to change the Fax retry time and the number of attempts. Hopefully this information will be useful to someone else.
