    Can you find WCScheduler.exe ? most likely in folder C:\Program Files\Samsung\Samsung Recovery Solution 4
    Just rename it (temporary) to WCScheduler_test.exe

    Now boot normally. Works?

    Btw the popup is a result of a Scheduled Task that has been configured to run at LOGON time. Scheduled Tasks don't run in safe mode.

    That's the reason you can't find it in msconf or startup folders. Is "Samsung Recovery 4" (or something alike) listed in Add/Remove Programs list?

    WCScheduler.exe rename it to WCScheduler_test.exe and reboot normally. Works without popup?

    Is "Samsung Recovery 4" (or something alike) listed in Add/Remove Programs list? If so rename WCSchedule_test.exe back to WCScheduler.exe , after that uninstall from the list

    WCScheduler..Type..Application=>this is actually WCScheduler.exe
    In your configuration you hide the exe extension. So you don't see it. You want to show extensions? See File Extensions - Hide or Show

    Sure you renamed it? So its name isn't WCscheduler.exe anymore?

    If you're right:
    1. Rename it back to the name it was

    manifest file should still be there. I didn't ask you to do anything with it!! You must rename the other file. Or just rename the whole folder. I just want windows not to be able to locate it!

    But better is: Leave all names as it was before I asked you to rename and uninstall the program using "add remove program" list. Not in list.... then use my bat file I posted a few minutes ago

    As in my post I said I had 'two' WCSchedulers..... but only one shown up with .exe on it ......so I renamed the .exe file as you said and restarted to go into normal mode but popup still came back up....so I have renamed it back to what it was originally called and so far on rechecking in the 'TYPE' heading it still shows it as...Application not Manifest as it was before! I did not have any other file called .exe apart from one I said in my post.....(it has it showing up as WCScheduler.exe.manifest under name but the Type is Application now)
