    Oh Greglocker....I know its a R519 thats all and it has a Atheros AR9285 adapter version 9.2.0.470
    How come you know it's really an atheros R519?

    try this driver http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/co..._9.2.0.470.ZIP
    just run inst.exe inside it. Post results

    Did you download the zip file with driver I posted? If so, did you run inst.exe from zip file? It did show a popup something like "do you want to extract all files" did you answer YES? And run inst.exe afterwards from extracted files folder?

    Kaktussoft.....I have done it.....omg omg you are amazing........I had already downloaded the zip file earlier but it obviously needed to have the other one uninstalled for it too work.....oh yesss...I am so pleased....I have been without my laptop trying to sort problems with it for over a week.....Ended up just doing a clean install but it came with the problems you have helped me to sort out.....I should of just come to you in the first place ...haha....I cannot thank you enough......I don't understand the #38 question so not sure how to answer....but its done thankgoodness......my husband will be so chuffed tomorrow when I tell him...cos he has been sharing his computer with me all week to get mine sorted out ...well I had claimed it most of the time...haha...Thumbs up to you I feel like its time to haha

    device manager shows no strange things anymore. And no "other devices"? All seems to work fine?

    I have checked all of the devices in device manager and nothing is showing as not working...all seems fine....fingers crossed it stays that way :)

    Sounds good. Make sure you stick closely with the other tools and methods to get and keep a perfect Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7.
