it's true - as in physical cpu's, not cores
motherboards still exist with multi-processor support. that is you can stick more than one multicored chip in them.
All Windows versions are the same speed.
Why?
Well Windows copy's the same files on your hdd in all editions,
and at the end of the setup you type your key to "unlock" all
features of your edition you bought.
That's why "Windows Anytime Upgrade" exists
So that means everyone is running the same version, but some
have limited addons and someone have all addons.
