    screen freezing problem

    hey

i have an hp pavilion dv6-3141ee laptop with windows 7 ultimate 64bit installed... i've been having issues with my system that sometimes the screen just freezes and i'm unable to use the touch pad nor the keyboard ..
    what is the issue ??
NB: i'm sure its not caused by a virus

    Welcome to the forums!

Have you tried running an sfc/scannow to find and possibly repair any corrupt system files? We have many excellent tutorials here at the forums, here's one on how to do that. Just click on the link.

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

Also, have you checked your drivers?

    Driver Install - Device Manager
