How to change the IFilter for a file type

I installed an evaluation copy 3rd party of an HTML iFilter. The eval period has expired and I can't justify the cost of getting a full license, so I uninstalled it.

How can I get back to having the standard HTML iFilter indexing HTML files, at the moment I've set it to plain text - but that's not working for me. I know the standard HTML iFilter is doing its job, because if I rename a .HTML file to .HTT then it gets indexed and shows up in Search as I would anticipate it would.

    Thanks PJD

I fixed it - copied the persistent handler that was being used by HTT to HTML and HTM and Indexing options reports that they're being indexed by the native HTML iFilter - and it seems to be working.
