i have but when i come to overclock it will start having a cow
but why, must be down to the thermal paste.
unlikely ! stock coolers simply can't handle overclocking to any substantial degree. I would lose the overclock profile and run stock clocks.
i am running stock clock atm but im thinking for the future. i have some thermaltake sonic towers if you think they might solve the problem?
ive tried everything, reflashing the bios with the f2 version. research manual overriding calibration of sensors. nothing. ive sent an email to ggbyte asking for help. lets see what they say.
could i run it without a heatsink to feel how hot the processor is getting?
DO NOT do that!
I doubt the PC would even boot without a HSF, but I would never attempt it.
