    right, just right suspicion of the heatsink no pulling heat might be correct. but on another note. gbyte sent me a more up to date bios, i will have to start another post for the bios and then ask admins to skicky as gbyte havent actually put this on there website. the f3 version.

    just installed new bios and no different. dont suppose anyone local to darlington with a spare fm2 heatsink? could be a shit hs?? or too much thermal paste?

    whart kind of fault in the cpu would could this, although like said in previous posts, it cant be the cpu; the heatsink is stone cold.

    I would say error between CPU and Bios. If nothing is hot to the touch and the rig is snappy then damn the torpedoes and keep trying to source the issue.
