verifying dmi pool data before boot

    another problem
now when I switch on the pc, after the white screen and before the boot appear a black screen that say verifying dmi pool data and it stop to this.
For the first time I change the boot priority and boot from the another hard disk and it start. But now when I Boot from any hard disk the message is always the same...
I can boot without any problem from dvd drive or another device. Any solution?

the hardrive your booting from needs to have an OS installed on it... if theres not you will be stuck on the verifying dmi pool data screen...

That's not really correct. The drive you boot from only needs to have the boot files such as bootmgr file and boot folder. Of course, bcd file must be correct too and Windows must be intact on the same or other drive.

As I said in the other thread, a startup repair is the thing to try here. If not, clean install.

I'm sure there's probably other things to try or that may fix. You'll probably save time just clean installing instead of going through numerous troubleshooting and repair steps with probably no good result.

    Good luck.

that error message is BIOS related. It means the data is corrupted. Upgrade the bios and read about it here Computer Hangs at"Verifying DMI Pool Data"

    hope this helps
