    "Explorer has Stopped Working" - constant error message


    I am constantly receiving the "Windows Explorer has Stopped Working", when using explorer.

    After looking on the Microsoft Support, I ran System File Checker (CFS) but although CFS has reported it found corrupt files it was unable to fix some of them. I am also denied access to the report log so cannot find more information on these corrupt files. I'm currently running a full virus and malware scan but I'm not overly optimistic that this will sort the issue.

    Could you please tell me how to sort this issue? The errors are making explorer unusable!

    Next time you want to open the CBS.log, copy it to another folder (example desktop) away from C:\Windows. Then it will open - with Notepad.
