Won't sleep - just goes back to desktop

I select sleep, screen goes black, then almost immediately goes back to desktop.
This is only on new 'official' install - worked fine in RTM leaked.
I did an powercfg /energy report and it finds errors in just about every USB device. (attached report)
Don't know what is going on!

Well, I could be wrong but just suggesting.

Check that in your BIOS if the "Wake Up on LAN" is ON. If it is, turn it off. It can solve the problem.

It might also be you NIC card (had this happen to me a while back..)

Go to Device Manger select you NIC card(s) and go to the Power Management section..and uncheck Allow the device to wake you computer..

About the USB problem (I don't know)The only thing I could think of is go and look at your USB controllers(In Device Manger) and see if any of them have power management If they do check to see if the box is unchecked..the Allow the device to wake your computer..

    Hope this Helps..

For what its worth, I have never had much luck with sleep over the years.
I turn off my monitor when done computing and leave it at that.

Thanks guys. I had already checked all that.
The network adapter is not set to wake the computer, and none of the USB devices are either.
I did a terminal command to identify which devices can wake up, and it was only keyboard and mouse - as it should be.
All the 'wake up on' BIOS settings are disabled to.
This is weird. After many months of W7 beta, RC, numerous builds, RTM etc. with everything being OK, suddenly I install the release version (just in case!) and now sleep doesn't work.
I'll have to get this working because switching on and off is a real pain.
PS. OSX86 sleeps perfectly well too.
    Any other ideas?

I had a lot of trouble with this a while back...Don't know if it will help you but for me upgrading my video drivers solved my sleep problems. New Nvidia driver 191.07 to be exact as I see you use an Nvidia card.

Thanks again, guys. I am already using the 191.07 driver and I have already been through Brink's excellent guide - on more than one occasion - and everything checks out there.
    No change. Just doesn't work.
It's like it's not actually trying. Screen goes black for a second and then just returns to desktop.

Any chance you can remove all unnecessary hardware to do some testing? Remove the NIC, wifi, USB devices, etc? Remove everything except for the keyboard and mouse to see if it's a piece of hardware causing your sleep problem.

OK, I removed all hardware, i.e. ethernet, all usb devices except keyboard and mouse.
    Still no go.
