Here's one suggestion to try: Check to see whether your "desktop" is set to the recommended resolution. Right click the desktop, select screen resolution and under resolution check to see if it says "recommended" after the numbers. If it doesn't, change it to the recommended resolution. If it does say recommended, then it's probably something else that's causing the issue.
That snap feature was one thing I couldn't get used to in W7 so I disabled it. I probably should force myself to try it for a while to see if maybe I can get used to it. But I prefer to have my windows set up very specifically.
I had the same problem and found that it was because my display setting was set up for dual monitors. When I changed it to a single monitor the problem went away and now I can snap to the right edge of the screen.
To get to my NVideo Display Control Panel, I went to the control panel for Screen Resolution and click on "Advanced settings". The multiple display panel lists 2 displays even though I only had one so I identified the one I was using and unchecked the other. Immediately right snap began to work.
This problem may be related to a problem with device manager listing 2 generic PnP monitors which other people have reported on the web. I am still investigating that problem.
Yeh it fell of the face of the earth for me too, till i found out that i had my desktop setting to extended mode. Even if you are disconnected from your dual monitor, for some reason, your primary still thinks it's there (aka settings doesnt automatically changed. It's annoying when you accidently move say xpmode off the screen lol.
i had the problem of the right hand side not working....so i went into screen resolution and altered were it say show on one desktop..low and behold it works again
I had this problem I went to my screen resolution and selected 1 Monitor instead of Dual then it was fixed like for most people.
