Window - same size & same position not working

Up until a week ago I could minimize an open file that would fill the top half of my screen and it would go all the way from the right side to the left. After maximizing the window and then minimizing it again, it would be the same size and position as it was before. My screen resolution is 1366 x 768.

Then, and I don't know what I did wrong, when I minimize the file, it's in the same position, (top half of screen all the way to the left) but it's about an inch from the right side. I think that I had set the PC to remember the position and size of on windows. Sure doesn't work that way now.

I've searched everywhere and I can't find how to reset it. Any ideas?

    Thank you

    Hello BB,

If you moved it back to the way you wanted, and closed the file, does it open the same way as it was last closed again?

If not, then you could use the method in the tutorial below to reset all folder views back to default, to see if doing the above may work again.

Folder View Settings - Reset All to Default

    Hope this helps, :)

    Thought I posted this.....

    Shawn,

Folder View Settings - Reset All to Default

    Doesn't that reset the FOLDERS?

My folders seem to be all right but it's the FILES that are messed up. Like a Word doc, or OpenOffice Calc or NoteTab Light.

    Thanks for the reply.

It would also reset file positions that they open as, so hopefully it will help with this as well.
