Dim screen outside of current active window

    Good evening!
Is there a software that enables the us to automatically darken the rest of the screen and just focus on the current active window?
I googled and found nothing, except for Kino, but it's hard to use.

Hello ej8989 and welcome to the Forums,

From your link alone I have found both CinemaDrape and Universal DarkRoom. From reading the entries I'd say that the latter one is the most user friendly.

Good luck and keep us posted,

I tried both but they still require users to manually select a portion of the screen to be focused on.

    Isn't that good?
I downloaded CinemaDrape to test it for myself, and you can use it by simply creating a selection with your left mouse button and then that selection will be the viewable area.

Do you want that or a program that automatically selects the program that you want viewable instead of manually needing to make the selection?

That, or a program that automatically dims everything out except for the current active window/program that i'm on (if exists)

Hmm, sorry but I currently do not know any software that does that.
The only software that I know does the same as these; it allows you to create a viewable selection but doesn't use your mouse pointer as a guide to which windows to dim.

You might want to run a search in our Software subforum though, there might be something hidden there.
