need help clearing folders - history

This is a bit weird issue, I've been facing for over a long period of time.

When I open any folder, My Computer ... Upon clicking drop down box, I get to see just 3 links in explorer menu.

    1. Control Panel
    2. D:\
    3. while another one is for a folder under D:\ which I had deleted more than an year ago, which was a folder my cousin copied from his Memory Card. It was an adult dir, so I made sure it went off the system as soon as I came across it.

But the problem didn't end there. I'm not sure what he did, but the folder link is stuck in the explorer history. I'm not able to remove it from there.

I tried to remove the history by deleting "WordWheelQuery" in the regedit.exe too but nothing's changed. I have cleared IE browsing history, I tried highlighting the directory location & pressing shift+del, del ... still nothing worked.

Can anyone guide me process, so that I could remove this folder location from the drop down & if I remember correctly, earlier when I used to click drop down in explorer menu, I was able to view hierarchy of folders through which I could easily navigate into other folders but currently I don't see any of them. Even though, I don't use it, it would be nice to have it back

    *sorry for my english.

wow! Thanks Brink, that helped :) Finally I've removed the folder location off my system, phew !!!

Brink, will there be any problem if I remove D:\ from regedit in the typed paths ?
I have 2 more typed paths, one is for Control Panel, while the other is for D:\, I was planning to remove both of them but held back, as I didn't wanna mess up with system, with a very limited knowledge I possess :)

    You're most welcome.

It's only your typed path history, so it won't cause any issues. :)
