Everything Search
Just run it. In Options I recommend setting it to "start when Windows starts." Also if you don't show all Tray Icons you should probably set it to display icon and show notifications so you can click the Icon. Or you can select a hotkey to bring up the search page. Type in the search page. See the help for details such as keywords for folders etc.. It does not search file contents. For that you may want to use SearchMyFiles, Agent Ransack or fgrep from Linux for Windows.
I recommend using the latest stable Everything. I tried the beta but it would stop working on occasion until I deleted the database.
