    Uninstall software any use?

Is there any need or use for uninstall software such as Ashampoo Uninstaller or similar on windows seven, I know programs don't always clean up after themselves but would such software be part of good maintenance for windows seven, if yes can anyone recommend a good version?

    Cheers Stevo

This is just my personal preference. I tend to use IObit Uninstaller or Geek Uninstaller most of the time and they do a fairly decent job. As I tend to install and remove a lot of free software these programs are quite useful. I have used nearly every other program uninstaller and have found that actually none of them can manage to remove all trace of a program.

So I tend to manually clean up using RegSeeker from Hoverdesk and then also clean up in a few other places likethe Userassistview registry key. So far I have not found a way to prevent Windows 7 from logging history of installed programs.
