Ok. I can do that. Lets say that the computer doesn't crash once the video card is removed, should we assume it's a hardware problem with the video card and an RMA would fix the issue?
One other thing to note, is that I'm using both the onboard integrated video of the MOBO and the video card (2 monitors on the video card, one on the mobo)
Do you think that the switching back and forth could be causing issues?
Next, one thing that I've noticed when the computer "freezes" is that the USB devices go down, in that the LED's no longer light up on many of the devices. This is what led me to attempting to update the BIOS -- because others experiencing USB problems stated that updating the BIOS fixed their USB problems, albeit, they had different problems than me.

There could be other factors in play such as the motherboard slot,
we need to eliminate them one at a time.
How's it been?
It's a possibility, although less likely.
This is a behavior that usually starting to happen when a mother is reaching the end of it's life
and/or a short of some kind had taken place.
Did something changed, hardware-wise before these issues started?
An extra mother standoffs is a very common cause.

So far no crashes. It's been up for probably 3 days. It's certainly gone longer in between crashes before, so I can't be certain of anything yet.How's it been?
No, these issues have been plaguing me since I built the PC about 6 months ago. I've just been living with it because they are ALL new components, so I don't really know where to start looking and since I can't reproduce it reliably, it just takes forever to troubleshoot. It's been very frustrating, to say the least.Did something changed, hardware-wise before these issues started?

Are you positive you didn't bend and pins (CPU/socket) and that you didn't install an extra standoff?

Not positive, but this is like my 4th build, and I had a friend with me who's done 10ish... So we had plenty of experience in the room.
When I was building it, I made sure not to install any extra standoffs (It's bitten me before) and I was very careful with the cpu. Obviously the only way to be 100% sure is to take it apart, which I can do.
I just checked the standoffs from the reverse side of the case, and every space there is a standoff installed, there is a screw on the other side associated with it.

I probably didn't describe that well enough.
Every standoff has a screw in it. There are empty standoff holes.
From the back side there are 9 stand off's populating the holes, on the front, there are 9 screws. ( I think 9, I'm at work right now)

Yeah, the GPU is has been removed and the system has been up for 4 days with no crashing so far.
