Win Explorer shortcuts
Hello everyone,
I want to open a folder shortcut in its original location (not in new window, refer to attachment). If anyone knows how to do so please advise Thanks a lot Mohamad |

Hello Mohamad, and welcome to Seven Forums.
You should be able to just click on the folder to open it in the same window as in your screenshot. To open the shortcut in it's original folder location, click on Properties from your screenshot, then see if it has an Open File Location button in the Shortcut tab. Hope this helps, ![]() Shawn |

If you go to the "Target" path displayed for the folder shortcut's properties, is the folder there?

In windows explorer, follow the steps in the picture below to set the folders options. Open each Folder in the Same or Own Separate New Window ![]() |

Win 7 Pro Shortcuts crash Explorer I have a strange situation. If I try to right click on a shortcut, it will crash explorer.exe.
