cannot format using a book disk

I need a boot disk that will format my Windows 7 64 bit laptop,The problem with most boot disk like Hirin boot disk,Kill Disk, and the rest is that if you try to boot on a cd and format the drive it will tell you that there is no System files like DOS ? And so it cannot load the CD program to format the drive and this is a big problem with Windows 7.

You can use the bootable CD of Partition Wizard. The .iso is in the last box on this webpage. Burn that to CD - e.g. with ImgBurn - and boot your PC with the CD.

But before you do any damage, let me ask you what you are trying to accomplish.

How is it a big problem with Windows 7 if you are trying to format the drive.

As Wolfgang has suggested, make and use a Partition Wizard Boot CD, it works perfectly.

Do you have a windows 7 dvd ? Just use that.

Instead of burning a bootable CD of Partition Wizard, you can easily create a bootable pen drive with the downloaded ISO using Rufus Rufus - Create bootable USB drives the easy way

Note: 1. Backup all data in your pen drive for it will be lost while creating the bootable pen drive.

    2. During the bootable pen drive creation process, allow Rufus to download and use the new

Brian, it is not clear what this OP tries to accomplish. It sounded like he wanted to format the C partition. That's why I asked what he is up to - before he shoots himself into the foot.

If you want a bootable pen drive, you can do that directly from Partition Wizard. No need to use an extra program.

There are many ways a particular thingy can be done. Creating a bootable CD also involves an extra program ImgBurn as suggested. I am not going to argue on these lines. It will be for the OP to choose one out of the many ways as it suits him.:)
