    Password a folder


    Looking for some advice on having a folder with a password.
    Any help here Please.
    Could I have some advice on this method is it good bad etc.

    I wouldn't rely on it : If you open the .bat file, the password can be seen......I think I've seen this posted here a few years ago.

    You could try using 7ZIP to zip the contents and provide a password that way.

    A more thorough method is to encrypt the folders using something like TrueCrypt:

    golden,Been looking at the 7zip any tips on using it should i look out for some things etc

    No. Its quite straight forward and foolproof. Just don't forget the password.
