    Toolbars, Menus, etc

Either with Win7 or with the latest version of programs, the top window row (above the menu), the menu, the toolbars and other items are all blended together. This makes it harder to figure out where what starts, where to grab the window, drag sections, etc. Of course I can see it but you need to look more carefully than before. I have been using Win7 and the newest versions of many programs for a long time but I am still not used to this (I got used to the ribbon menu even if I don't like it too much). This approach seems a big step backwards. Does anybody feel the same? Maybe it's good Balmer is going out and hopefully with him a few others who came up with this new GUI that tries to hard to be slick like Apple (I am no apple fan boy) but fails miserably doing so... Just my 2 cents.

Possibly some screen shots of the view would help (me anyway) see what your referring to,
The ribbon has a Quick access toolbar which if you right click it and click on show below ribbon it makes items easier to see and use.
    Cheers.
