Computer suddenly Freezes/hangs/slows down

RAM issues are among those potentially causing random lockups.

Click the Windows 'start' button (used to be a start button anyhow) and type "memory" in the run/search box and run the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool. Choose 'Restart now...' or 'Check for problems...' as appropriate and let it run the check against your memory. It will display the results when windows next load.

Keep a track of CPU temps with CPU Z. Is your hardware getting enough air supply? Also, check the power supply. Is it providing proper power to the motherboard or not. Perform a chkdsk to check for bad sectors on hard disk. Follow this tutorial. Disk Check

I'm going to skip most of what archer said and get straight to the point. You have a lot of errrors coming from your hard drive storage device and your IDE controller. So i am going to assume you have an older model PC which is using IDE ribbons still.

Whislt doing the above that Archer has pointed out, you may want to try checking the internal connections, making sure that the ribbon for the IDE is seated properly.

Believe it or not, HDD Read/write issues can cause lockups as well since most of the data is being bottlenecked from the storage device. If it cannot read the info quick enough then you may find this issue again in the future, even with a fresh format of the device!

Also i am going to repost an older fix for you to try to remove a couple of your event errors.

The Computer Browser service depends on the Server service and the
Workstation service. These two services have to be running before the
Computer Browser service can start.

Open Services...
Start | Run | type: services.msc | Click OK |
Scroll down to and double click Server |
Set Startup type to Automatic | Click Apply |
Click the Start button | When the Server service starts,
Click OK | Scroll down to and double click Workstation |
Set Startup type to Automatic | Click Apply |
Click the Start button | When the Workstation service starts,
Click OK | Close Services

If the Workstation service is not listed in Services...

The Client for Microsoft Networks component is actually the Workstation
service.

Network Connections | Right click: Your Connection | Properties | General
tab | Install button | Highlight: Client | Add button | Highlight: Client
for Microsoft Networks | OK | Close

Removing Client for Microsoft Networks Removes Other Services
