Asus Laptop keeps randomly restarting after windows 7 install

Hi, I have an Asus U56E laptop. About a week ago it had the Cryptowall virus in it and of course all the information was encrypted so I dumped it. I re-installed windows 7 from the recovery drive on it. From that point I went in and updated all the drivers, installed what I needed to to run my car software, but just before that it shut down once. After it was all installed it kept shutting down, roughly every 5-15 min, I thought maybe due to heat right? Tore the laptop down, cleaned everything, found out that the laptop was running normal temps, just the fan is a little loose and its going to need a new one soon. Put it all back together and same issue. Played with the drivers, made sure everything was all up to date. chkdsk wasn't coming up with anything. It wouldn't enter the windows memory diagnostic(still won't with new install), lots of errors and warnings in the event viewer.

I just did another install of windows 7, and its doing the same thing. Roughly shutting off every 5 min. When I turn it back on, it says Windows Error Recovery. But in safe mode, it seems to run a lot longer, I'm still testing it right now with the new install, but last time I went over 7 hrs and it didn't turn off. When I went to install windows 7 again I tried to use an install disk, which that didn't work. I also tryed to use my other computers recovery disk, which of course that didn't work either. When I tested the hard drive for failure, it passed. I've downloaded all the programs for crash reports, but there is nothing! I've disabled all the start up programs, still turns off. I'm at a loss and need some guidance!

Added note. The computer stayed on perfectly before the install of windows 7 after the virus. Right after I reinstalled, I have not been able to keep the computer on for over an hour on a normal boot. Usually its 5-15 min for it to shut off and re-start again "Windows did not shut down properly"
    Thanks!

New update. Registry files corrupted. Another restore. while restoring its doing the shut down errors. canceled the restore. Cannot boot in safe mode, cannot keep running long enough to finish the restore......AHHHH!

EDIT:crashed in restore-now I have a base windows version.....not many drivers at all. Going to see if it will do its random shutdown like this before I try to re-install(still re-starts). This was from a USB install that I finally got to work a tiny bit.
