Power saver on battery not changing taskbar colour

    Power saver on battery not changing taskbar colour


    Hi guys,before when i turn the ac power off & my laptop goes to on battery.the taskbar colour was changed to i think windows 7 basic theme colour to save battery power.but now it doesn't,now it stay on aero colour not to basic when on battery.how to fix it ?

    It's not the issue of what i choose for best performance or let windows choose or for best appearance.before it was all right & all options were just set as now.
    But i don't know what went wrong...!

    You might want to try the Power Saver option from this tutorial Power Plan - Select

    Sir i already selected power saver..that's why i'm saying before it was all right..windows changes it's colour to basic when on battery.but not now.i already said this in my first post

    I don't see in your 1st post where you said you tried power saver settings.

    Do you have software that came preinstalled with your Asus laptop that's for the battery?

    Yes but i uninstalled that (Power 4 Gear Hybrid Utility)
    because it was same as windows default power plans & it didn't save battery power much.so i uninstalled that !!
    & sorry i not mentioned power saver plan in Ist post..but i use it when i'm not gaming & surf internet !!

    no..i uninstalled Power 4 gear utility i think 15 days ago & it started 2-3 days ago !

    Do Option 2 of this tutorial SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker it will not harm any data or programs you have installed it will try to find and repair any corrupt system files that you have. You may need to do this up to 3 times with a reboot after each scan.

    or
    Install Power 4 gear utility again and see.
