    Extended_Partition

    Hi everyone,

I had recently installed a dual boot ubuntu on my laptop, the installer crashed and temp ubuntu was installed on the unallocated space of 23 GB. Since it wasnt working properly I formated the disk and tried to delete the partition. The partition got converted into free space and got extended to D drive, kindly help me as i want to extend it to my C: drive also the free space is not useable. Attaching the Screen capture

    Thanks!!

Partition Wizard can extend C into any other available space, even if it's Logical Extended or not adjacent.

How to extend partition easily with Partition Wizard video help.

That did not help! The free space is extended with the D drive and in the disk management shows a total volume of 52GB. I tried partitioning the D drive but when i try to that it gives me on 29GB of space! even the minitool partition wizard did not help

The Partition Wizard Extend feature will normally extend Primary partitions into Logical Free Space or the space available on Logical partitions. Try again.

If this is not the case then use Partition Wizard to Set D Partition as Primary which should allow you to Extend C into the Free space since it will now be Unallocated and not part of a Extended Logical partition.

Let us know how that goes. There are other workarounds.
