    Computer's properties window disapears

Hi, I speak french, so my english isn't perfect, if I wrote something you didn't understand, just tell me and I'll try to better explain.

I have a good computer knowledge, but the problem I have is very, very weird.
I was trying to do a test for the "indice de performance windows" (sorry I don't know the name in english, my windows 7 is french), but every time i right click properties on the "computer" window, they both disapear...
It's hard to explain, so I record it on my phone: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=okY-ad_xIS4

    Please, help me!
thanks and happy new year :)

See if OPTION TWO in this tutorial helps: SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

Follow OPTION THREE and attach sfcdetails.txt in a new post in this thread.
(Use the paper clip icon just above the posting window to attach the file)

I found that when the window disapear, all other windows explorer windows close too, so if I open music, videos, downloads, computer, control panel, then I right click properties on computer, they all close. All the icons on the bottom right of the screen (wifi connection, battery charge, etc) disapear then reappear few seconds after.

Windows Explorer is crashing - take a look in your Event Viewer - any Critical or Error entries?

Critical, warnings and error (the 3 at the top) are all at 0 in the last hour.

See what the 18 entries in the Erreur row are, click on the plus [+] sign and post a screen.

There might only be a few error codes among the 18 entries (same code appears multiple times)

By the way, erreur means error...

10 WMI is an easy fix: Event ID 10 is logged in the Application log after you install Service Pack 1 for Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2
11 disk might be causing some issues and might cause some of the other entries to be logged.

Use Chkdsk to analyse your HD
Open an elevated Command Prompt (right click on the shortcut, select Run as administrator
Start menu (windows orb) -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt
In the Command Prompt window, type
    chkdsk C: /f

Since it is your "Windows" drive, the system will either reboot and run the chkdsk or it will only schedule a chkdsk at the next boot. If the system doesn't automatically restart, exit out of the Command Prompt and manually restart your machine.

This is step one of disk analysis/repair.
