    is it possible to highlight in different colors and bold the filename in windows explorer

    Just off the top of my head I don't think Windows offers this type of setting but I could be wrong. There are third party File Explorers that do it I believe but you would have to use their explorer.

    If you compress a folder, the filename defaults to blue. Not the greatest workaround but its something.

Greetings, First of all, I'm a complete noob at customizing, so please bear with me. I've been searching for a way to change the Windows Explorer navigation (folder) pane background colour, the panel that (by default) can be found on the left and shows things like Favourites, Libraries etc....
