    windows explorer wont start

When I launch Windows Explorer it never loads. All I get is Favorite, Library and Computer in the left navigation pane with little circles like it's loading. After a reboot it works fine for a couple of tries. Then it starts this again. Also sometimes all my desktop icons turn white when this is going on, but a refresh fixes that. I have run several online virus scanners, checked the hard drives and run SFC.

anyway, this problem came out since i install GTA IV on my pc, i've already try system restore before GTA IV installed, but nothing changed,

    any solution of this? please

    thanks before

Hi auwwy, Welcome to Seven forums.

This might be caused due to some faulty file that wouldn't open or interact at all. Try to find that. It can be some video, pic or music file.

Oh! now you mentioned that once the PC is connected to net the issue comes up. What I was referring to was, some file (audio, video or picture) which you might have downloaded and now that file is not associated with any program or corrupted might cause this issue. Also, you mentioned that the issue started after you installed GTA 4. Have you uninstalled the game? have you completely removed all the leftovers of the game (Social club...etc)?

Run Malwarebytes. Scan your PC completely.

    Don't be sorry dude.

Yes, I meant that only. If there is any file(picture, music, video) which cannot be opened, delete it.
